The first original movie from Disney XD is scheduled to premiere tonight (November 27) at 5:00 p.m., ET/PT timeslot on Disney XD. The Skyrunners stars the Kelly Blatz of Aaron Stone and a new comer Joey Polanski.

Skyrunners is sci-fi adventure film with lots of special effects. The story of Skyrunners evolve around the all about teenage brothers Tyler Burns (Joey Pollari) and Nick Burns (Kelly Blatz) as they commandeer a small UFO that crashes near their town.

The brothers soon realize the UFO was “alive” and Tyler begins to develop superhuman abilities. When the brothers uncover an ominous alien plot to take over Earth, Tyler is captured by the extraterrestrials, so now it’s up to Nick to rescue his brother.

Skyrunners is directed by Ralph Hemecker, he is the same guy who directed the popular TV series “Numb3rs” and written by Richard C. Okie (“Quantum Leap” and “Earth: Final Conflict”) along with Adam Wilson & Melanie Wilson.
