From the creator of blockbuster animated films like “Shrek”, “Kung Fu Panda” and “Madagascar” here comes the “How To Train Your Dragon.” I bet, all kids and kids at heart alike are all excited for the upcoming animated 3D film from DreamWorks Animation. How To Train Your Dragon 3D is based on the children’s novel written by the British author Cressida Cowell with the same title. The movie is scheduled to be released on March 26, 2010.

The story of How To Train Your Dragon 3D revolves around the adventure of the teenage boy named Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III or just Hiccup. Hiccup is the son of the Viking chief who lives on the Island of Berk, where fighting dragons is the way of life. Hiccup must capture a dragon for a rite of passage.

Hiccup’s smarts and wacky sense of humor are not liked by his tribe and his father. However, when Hiccup was included in Dragon Training with the other Viking teens, he sees his chance to prove he has what it takes to be a fighter. After he catch a dragon, named Toothless, with a bolas-shooting cannon, Hiccup releases him and ends up befriending Toothless. This relationship flips his world upside down as he strives to convince his tribe that they do not need to be dragon-slayers.

Lending their voice for the movie are Jay Baruchel as Hiccup, Gerald Butler as Stoick the Vast, Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Fishlegs, Jonah Hill as Snotface Snotlout, Craig Ferguson as Gobber the Belch and Ugly Betty lead star America Ferrera as Astrid.
