This coming Friday, January 22, the Wizards of Waverly Place will be having a one-hour special episode. In the previous episode, Alex herself a British boyfriend and Justin trains to fight mummy to rescue his girlfriend Juliet.

The Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3 Episode 9: Wizards vs. Werewolves will premiere on Friday, January 22 on Disney Channel at 8:00 – 9:00 P.M (ET/PT) time slot. Guest stars on this episode are Bridgit Mendler as Juliet Van Heusen and Gregg Sulkin as Mason Greyback. Both Brigit and Gregg are mainstay actors of Disney UK.

WOWP Season 3 Episode 9: Wizards vs. Werewolves

Alex and Mason’s relationship is getting stronger as they become closer, but Alex becomes suspicious when Mason begins to disappear at night. Meanwhile, Justin, Alex, Mason and Max embark on a mission to rescue Juliet, who was recently disappeared after being turned into a mummy’s minion.

During the rescue mission Alex and Justin get a surprise when they find out that Mason and Juliet dated over 300 years ago. Alex also discovered that Mason is a werewolf. After Mason says accidently that he loves Juliet, Alex is left heartbroken and Justin is angry with him for breaking her heart.

Previously Mason gives Alex a magic necklace; the magic necklace can tell if the wearer loves the person who put it on them so Mason convinces Alex to let them go back and find the necklace she threw. In Justin’s anger he tells Mason to stay away from Alex which causes the two of them to fight. The fight leads to Juliet fighting and biting Mason and Mason scratching Juliet (it is revealed when a werewolf scratches a vampire, it takes away their power, and reveals their actual age, and when a vampire bites a werewolf, it transforms them into a wolf permanently).

Max finds the necklace and it turns out Mason really did love Alex. She didn’t want him to go but he said it was too late for them and she’d never be safe. Juliet turns really old and insists to leave but Justin keeps fighting back and tells her he doesn’t matter how old she is. They promise to keep each other in their hearts forever. In the end, Juliet leaves Justin, and Mason leaves Alex. Justin is heartbroken since he just found her and he’s losing her again.
