Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief is the first among the five-books of novel series written by Rick Riordan. The movie is directed by the renowned directed Chris Columbus, he is same guy who gives us the first two of Harry Potter series, the Fantastic Four and many other blockbuster films. The Percy Jackson Movie stars Logan Lerman as Percy Jackson, Brandon T. Jackson as Grover Underwood, Percy’s best friend, Alexandra Daddario as Annabeth Chase, Pierce Brosnan as Chiron, Uma Thurman as Medusa, Jake Abel as Luke Castellan, the film’s antagonist and many others.

The story of Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief will revolve around Percy Jackson, a teenage boy who is a demi-god (half mortal-half god). After being attacked by his teacher, Percy Jackson discovers that he is the son of a Greek god Poseidon, the god of sea. Percy was sent to Camp Half-Blood, a camp for children with a half-god bloodline located in Long Island.

Percy is accused of stealing Zeus’ master lightning bolt. He embarks on a journey across modern-day America with his friends Annabeth Chase, a demigod daughter of Athena, and Grover Underwood, a satyr, in order to save his mother and return Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt. Percy is given ten days to return Zeus bolt to Mount Olympus to prevent a war between the gods.
