Episode Title: Cookie Monster

Sorry guys, I’m quite late posting this episode (I was busy for Pacquiao-Cotto boxing fight). Well, Cookie Monster is the second the last episode of the Sonny With A Chance Season 1. According to tv.com, Sonny With A Chance has 21 episodes for its first season. But Sonny fans won’t have to be sad because Sonny and rest of the SWAC gang will be back for Season 2 on January 2010.

The Sonny With A Chance Season 1 Episode 20: Cookie Monster is scheduled to air today, November 15. Guest stars for this episode are G. Hannelius as Dakota, Patricia Bethune as Mrs. Montecore, Madison De La Garza as young Sonny

Sonny With A Chance Season 1 Episode 20: Cookie Monster Synopsis

Zora gets challenged by the studio head’s daughter, Dakota, to sell the most Blossom Scout cookies ever, and Sonny steps in to help Zora win. However, Chad helps Dakota sell more cookies as she threatens him to get her dad to close down Mackenzie Falls. Both of the teams try to sell the cookies by bribing the customers. At one stage Zora gets kicked out of the Blossom Scouts but knows how to wrap up a twisted ankle when the Scout master’s leg gets hurt. Then she is offered her badge sash again. In the end, they tie, but there is one box left. Sonny, Zora, and Dakota want it, but Chad eats it, and chokes. Sonny saves him, and she gets her merit badge that prohibited her from becoming a Blossom Scout ever since she was eight years old. Then, while trying to hold back Dakota and Zora, Sonny and Chad start arguing, which leads to them literally fighting with Zora holding Sonny back and Dakota holding back Chad.

Meanwhile, Nico and Grady come up with a scent to attract girls (which attracts a few too many), and Tawni promises not to look in the mirror for two days, which at first makes her slightly eccentric, then daunting, and then look like The Joker.

Episode Title: Sonny In The Middle

Three premieres on Disney Channel this Sunday, November 8, 2009. JONAS, Hannah Montana Season and Sonny With A Chance will be airing brand new episodes. The Sonny With A Chance Season 1 Episode 19: Sonny In The Middle is directed by Eric Seaton and written by Lanny Horn and Josh Silverstein. This episode was included on the DVD “Sonny’s Big Break”, and was recorded to show on online flights with Delta.

The title Sonny In The Middle is referenced from a long running show called Malcolm In The Middle.

Sonny With A Chance Season 1 Episode 19 Sonny In The Middle Synopsis:

Sonny gives Nico and Grady a video game chair for their birthday. Right after she gives them this gift, Nico and Grady start fighting over it because only one person can sit on the chair at a time. Nico and Grady both get so mad that they declare that they are “Not friends anymore”, and both try to hang out with Sonny instead. Sonny gets annoyed with them not being friends and trying to replace each other with her.

Meanwhile, Zora pretends to be upset and convinces Tawni to take her to see ‘Giraffes on Ice’. She later tricks Chad to take her also. Sonny finally decides to make Nico and Grady miss each other by taking them to movies that they don’t want to see (Grady to “Five Weddings and a Wedding”, and Nico to “Sisterhood of the Traveling Secret Princesses”) instead of Monkey Cars 3D, the movie they both wanted to see. While watching their movies, they each realize that they miss each other, make up and go to Monkey Cars 3D and the whole cast of So Random! and Chad is seen watching “Monkey Cars 3D”. At the end in the cafeteria, Sonny, Nico, and Grady are hearing the names of a sandwich. (Wikipedia.com)

Episode Title: Hart To Hart

It’s been so long since the last brand-new episode from Sonny and the rest of So Random! crew. But finally, the long wait is almost over. This coming Sunday, November 1 , Sonny With A Chance will air its 19th episode. It will be few more episodes before the launched of Sonny With A Chance Season 2 on 2010.

On this episode Christina Moore will guest as Tawni’s mother and manager. Nancy McKeon and Jeff Dunham will also be guesting on this episode. The episode title Hart to Hart was reference to TV show Heart To Heart. Meanwhile, the Camp Rock 2 which stars our dear Sonny, Demi Lovato has already been wrapped-up and ready to served in the Summer of 2010.

It’s been a long time since the last new episode of Sonny With A Chance, but finally and alas, a new episode is coming right up this coming Sunday, September 27, 2009. Sonny With A Chance Season 1 Episode 18: Guess Who’s Coming To Guest Star is one of those “almost-kissed” episode of SWAC. It will be aired back-to-back with Jonas Season 1 Episode 16: Forgetting Stella’s Birthday.

SWAC Episode 18: Guess Who’s Coming To Guest Star premiered on Disney Channel India last July 10 and August 8 on Disney Channel Latin America.

Marshall gets Chad Dylan Cooper to guest star on “So Random!” after Jackson Tyler (who was supposed to be the guest on “So Random!”) cancelled. Sonny has to do a sketch with him where they will kiss (much to her dismay) called “HottiEMT”. Chad then teases her all day saying she is going to fall in love with him when they look into each other’s eyes during the sketch. Though the thought is just a joke to Chad, Sonny does everything she can to make sure she doesn’t look in his eyes but she actually lost herself in Chad’s eyes in her dream and while Sonny says that nothing will happen. She also told Marshall that they should do a different sketch but he doesn’t want to do a different one. In the end, they do the “HottiEMT” sketch. Just when they are about to kiss, a pig accidentally lands in Sonny’s hands and she lets the pig kiss Chad in order to save herself. Meanwhile, Nico and Grady give their permission for Chad to use their dressing room in return for control of Marshall’s office for the day.

So Random! sketches: – - HottiEMT: This is the sketch where Chad guest stars. It is about a girl (played by Sonny) who waits at his favorite cafe and keeps on fake injuring herself. The plan was that he would ‘fix’ her ‘injuries’ with a kiss. (wikipedia.com)

Episode Title: Tales From the Prop House

It has been a long break since the last Prank’d episode of Sonny With A Chance that was aired last July 5. And one big congratulations for Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez for a very good performance in Princess Protection Program which had premiered last June 26. Sonny With A Chance Season 1 Episode 15: Tales From the Prop House is set to air on August 2 together with Jonas! Season 1 Episode 10: Love Sick.

Summer of Stars, this is the Disney’s Channel summer theme for this year. Summer of the Stars program will begin May 30, 2009 (Saturday) and will end on August this year. Disney Channel is known for its original sitcoms geared toward teenagers, and sometimes airs its original cartoons geared more towards upper-elementary and middle school age children. That is why Disney Channel design a new programming block each summer since 2005.

This year’s summer theme Summer of Stars will line up new episodes and uninterrupted movies airings. On the Disney’s regular schedule will air episodes of The Suite Life on Deck, Phineas and Ferb and Wizards of Waverly Place will take over the Fridays slot on top of several feature films. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe will be aired uninterrupted on June 19.

Saturdays on Disney’s Summer Stars will have double movies programming. This coming June 2 the back-to-back High School Musical and High School Musical 2 will be aired. Others movies like Happy Feet, Another Cinderella Story and Ratatouille will scheduled on later Saturdays.

Coming on Sundays starting June 7 there are new episodes for “Sonny with a Chance“, “Hannah Montana” and “J.O.N.A.S!“. New Disney Channel Original Movies are lined up for this summer particularly the Princess Protection Program which stars Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato and Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie. Princess Protection Program will premier on June 26 while Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie will be shown sometime in August before the summer ends.

Episode Title: Battle Of The Networks’ Stars Air Date: June 07, 2009 After a short break from the 12th episode The Heartbreak Kid which was shown last May 17, Sonny and her gang is back with the new episode entitled Battle Of The Networks’ Stars. This episode will feature Demi’s best friend Selena Gomez as Sonny. Demi and Selena will also be starring in the newest Disney Channel Original Movie Princess Protection Program which will be premiering on June 26 this year. Battle Of The Networks’ Stars will be aired back-to-back with JONAS! new episode Band’s Best Friend.

Battle Of The Networks’ Stars Synopsis:

The star of MacKenzie Falls (So Random! rival show) Chad Dylan Cooper is planning to make a documentary on his life, casting people to play the cast of So Random! Chad decided to have the real So Random! cast to play as themselves, except for Sonny, because Chad thinks Sonny has a diva personality. So, Chad decided to enlist Selena Gomez to play as Sonny Munroe. To learn more about Sonny’s character, Selena follows Sonny around. Sonny gets jealous of not getting the part and starts to make fun of Selena’s “Wizards” character by creating a sketch about wizards, so Selena gets Sonny and Chad to realize their feelings for each other.

Episode Title: The Heartbreak Kid
Air Date: May 17, 2009

Synopsis of the The Heartbreak Kid:

This is the twelfth episode of Sonny With A Chance with guest stars Michael Kostroff as Marshall Pike and Vicki Lewis as Mrs. Bitterman. In this episode Sonny observed that Ms. Bitterman and Marshall are both lonely. Together with Tawni, she arrange a date for them. Ms. Betterman become too attached with “So Random!”, and she realize that their match making effort was not a good idea.
In the end, with Nico’s (Bigfoot) Chad’s (Driver) and Grady’s (screaming kid) help, they use the material from the “Bigfoot sketch”. But much to their dismay it just ties Marshall and Mrs.Bitterman closer. Allisyn Ashley Arm as Zora Lancaster is absent in this episode.

Episode Title: Promises, Prom-misses

This is the prom special episode. I love the gowns and outfit of the cast.


Synopsis of the Promises, Prom-misses:

After Sonny is upset about missing her prom in Wisconsin, she asks Marshall if she can have a prom for all the shows on the lot on the So Random set, but after he refuses, they send him on a wild goose chase with his GPS and throw the prom in secret. Sonny uninvites Chad because he says the idea of a prom is dumb.Then, Sonny is too busy running around to actually enjoy it. Afterwards, Sonny gets caught by Marshall but he lets her throw a real prom. Chad then later asks Sonny to dance with him when he finds out that she’s hurt about missing her prom she created. Meanwhile, to prepare for their prom, Nico teaches Grady how to slow dance, and Tawni wants to be prom queen.

So Random! sketch:
The Prom”- Marshall guesses that Sonny is thinking of doing a prom sketch when he sees her twirling around in a pretty dress. Sonny and the rest of the cast later actually think of doing a prom sketch.
“Mermaid Girl”- This is the dress Sonny wears to keep Tawni happy.
“Princess Girl”- This is the dress Sonny wears that angers Tawni.

Episode Title: Sonny and the Studio Brat
Air Date: April 26, 2009

On this episode Demi Lovato’s sister Dallas Lovato made appearance. She is the girl who dances with Nico in this episode. This episode is directed by Eric Dean Seaton with guest stars Genevieve Hannelius as Dakota, Daniel Roebuck as Mr. Condor.


Synopsis of the Sonny and the Studio Brat:

Sonny gives a tour to a under-priviledged girl named Dakota. Zora points out in the beginning that Dakota was evil and turned out to be right. The little girl turns out to be the daughter of Mr. Condor, who could fire everyone if he gets the slightest bit annoyed. Dakota demands to see Chad, but Chad won’t do it unless he can go to “The Basement” a fake club Tawni, Nico and Grady created. At “The Basement” Mr. Condor also comes and sees his daughter. There he also holds hands with Chad

So Random! sketch:
“The Basement”- Nico mentions it when Tawni says they’re going to use the set to pretend that they got invited to a hot, teen club opening.
“Cheese Pants”- There is a picture of Nico and Grady wearing cheese pants and Nico says it is a picture of them from a sketch.
