Finally, it’s here! The most awaited Season 3 of the Wizards of Waverly Place. It’s been a long while since the Season 2 Finale which was aired last August 21, but I guess our wait will worth it. The premiere of the Wizards of Waverly Place will highlight the Wiztober event which will kick-off on October2 (Friday) with the special one-hour episode of The Suite Life On Deck: Lost At Sea.

Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3 Episode 1: Franken-girl is the pilot episode of the Season 3 and the 52nd episode of the entire show. WOWP Franken-girl is set to air on October 9 (Friday) at the 8:00 P.M (ET/PT) timeslot. After the Franken-Girl, new episode will follow every Friday night on the same timeslot.

Justin becomes fed up with Alex constantly going through his stuff and creates a female monster to guard his room and to think like Alex. However Justin’s plan backfires when the monster and Alex become fast friends.

The Wiz-tober event in Disney Channel will officially begin in October 1, and in line with this special Halloween Celebration Disney Channel had launched a special program wherein kids can join. It is called the “Call In Your Haunt”. Call in Your Haunt is a sort of “contest” where fans can record their own spooky haunted house sound effects. Select entries can be heard online in the Wizards of Waverly Place Haunted
House, and will air on Disney Channel during the programming event.
You can have the printable version of Call in Your Haunt instruction and guidelines at Disneychannel.com, but if you have slow internet connection it takes ages to download because of the awesome special effects embedded on the page. If you’re in hurry to get it, I provide a copy below where you can simply copy and paste to your word processor and hit the print button.

Disney Channel will be celebrating a month-long Halloween Celebration. The whole month of October will be filled with Halloween themed programming event hosted by the stars of Wizards of Waverly Place. This is the second year the Disney celebrated the Wiztober event. Last year’s Wiztober becomes the TV’s No. 1 rank in Total Day among Tween audiences ages 9-14.

This year’s Wiztober will kick-off with a special encore presentation of “Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie” on October 1 at 8:00 PM time slot. It will followed by the entire month of magic-filled movies like Halloweentown and Twitches together with sequels. Disney Channel will also feature two of Harry Potter movies during the Wiztober celebration.

In line with the Wiztober event, JONAS will air a brand new Halloween-themed episode and spooky episodes of “The Suite Life On Deck” and “Wizards of Waverly Place.” The month’s highlight will be airing of the Wizards of Waverly Season 3 pilot episode “Franken-girl” which is scheduled to premiere on October 9.

Beginning Wednesday, September 16, kids and teens can log on to DisneyChannel.com and get printable instructions for “Call in Your Haunt,” where fans can record their own spooky haunted house sound effects. Select entries can be heard online in the Wizards of Waverly Place Haunted House, and will air on Disney Channel during the programming event. Original Air Date: August 21, 2009

Retest is the Season Finale of the Wizards of Waverly Place Season 2. It is the 30th episode of the Season 2 and the 51st in the overall series. The Restest episode will be the last of the Season 2, but WOWP fans should not be sad because the Wizards of Waverly Place Season is about to start this September. We should also not to forget the upcoming Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie which is about to premiere on August 28.

The Wizards of Waverly Place Season 2 finale was shown first at Disney Latin-America last July 23 and to be shown in Disney US this coming Friday, August 21, one week before the showing of the WOWP The Movie. Guest stars on this episode are Jeff Garlin as Uncle Kelbo and Carrie Genzal as Aunt Megan.

WOWP Season 2 Episode 30: Retest (Season Finale) Synopsis:

The Wizards regulation found-out some irregularity on the result on the Wizard test taken by the “older” Russo siblings (Jerry, Kelbo and Megan), in their teens which determines who got to take their powers. It is the first time that Jerry revealed that he actually have a younger sister named Megan. If all the three of them would not retake the test altogether, the magic will be totally removed from the Russo family.

The kids find their aunt living as artist in Paris, but Aunt Megan don’t want to do anything about magic and her brothers anymore. When Alex, Justin and Max see how competitive the contest gets, they realize the same test could eventually tear their family apart as well. So, they decided to stick together as family and give-up the magic.

In May 1, 2009 Gary Marsh, the President of Disney Channels Worldwide – Entertainment had announced that there will be a third season for the Wizards of Waverly Place. The Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3 is set to air on October this year, a month after the premier of the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie which is set to air on August 28.

Wizards of Waverly Place is now running in its second season, there only one remaining episode left for the Season, the Retest episode which is scheduled to air on August 21. Wizards of Waverly Place is rated as number 1 program in its timeslot this year. On the survey in April 2009, WOWP was the number 2 among the scripted TV series across all cable and broadcast television among tween audiences aged 9-14 and number 3 among kids viewer aged 6-11.

Episode Title: Wizards & Vampires vs. Zombies

Wizards & Vampires vs. Zombies is the last part of the Wizards vs. Vampire saga on the Waverly Place. On this episode the wizards and vampires will be working together against the zombies. Wizards & Vampires vs. Zombies is the fourth of the saga. It started with the Wizards vs. Vampires On Waverly Place, it was followed by the Wizards vs. Vampires: Tasty Bites, then the Wizards vs. Vampires: Dream. Wizards & Vampires vs. Zombies is also the second to the last episode of Wizards of Waverly Place Season 2. The Russo family, and other magical creatures of Waverly Place will be back for its third season on September.

On this episode Bridgit Mendler would still be present as Justin’s vampire girlfriend. They will also be joined by Dan Benson as Zeke.

Exactly one week after the finale of WOWP Season 2, the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie will premiere on Disney Channel.

Wizards vs. Vampires: Dream Date is the 49th episode of the entire series and the 28th in the second season of Wizards of Waverly Place Series. It is also the third of the Wizards vs. Vampires saga of WOWP. There are only two more episodes before the Season 2 ends. According to some news Wizards of Waverly Place Season 3 would begin on September 2009,few days right after the premiere episode of Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie.

Wizards vs. Vampires: Dream Date episode is the continuation of the Wizards vs. Vampires on Waverly episode. Juliet Van Heuson will still be on this mentioned episode as Bridgit Mendler, the Vampire girlfriend of Justin. Wizards vs. Vampires: Tasty Bites is the 48th episode of the entire series and the 27th in the second season. Although it has already been confirmed that there would be season 3 for Russo family of Waverly Place we still have few more episodes before the Season 2 ends, and to highlight the second season of the series it will end with the premiere of the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie.

Wizards vs. Vampires: Tasty Bites episode is the continuation of the Wizards vs. Vampires on Waverly episode. There would be two more WOWP episodes wherein Wizards and Vampires mingled together. The two episodes includes Wizards vs. Vampires: Dream Date which is set to air on August 7 and Wizards & Vampires vs. Zombies on August 14. Episode Title: Wizard For A Day
Original Air Date: July 10, 2009

Wizard For a Day is the 24th episode on the second season of WOWP and 45th in the overall show. Wizards of Waverly Place Season 2 Episode 24: Wizards For A Day is written by Justin Varava and directed by Bob Koherr. On this episode the wizards of Waverly Place is joined by magical creatures, the Aliens. The regular casts of WOWP is being joined by Dan Benson as Zeke and Amir Talai as the Alien Leader.

Wizard For A Day Synopsis:

To celebrate Daddy Jerry’s birthday, Justin gave him a magical pencil holder and Max was supposed to gave Jerry his annual cat but he decided to go with Justin’s pencil sharpener. When Alex looks for a gift better that Justin’s she goes to the wizard world and gets the Merlin hat which grants any wish for a day. Jerry wishes for a box of pencils and for a Milky Way Milkshake from the Astriod Belt. Alex then thinks that his wishes are silly so she uses the hat to turn the Sub Station into the Astriod Belt. It brings in a lot of customers and Jerry makes their shift go up and makes them wear goofy costumes. A day later, the aliens heard that the Milky Way milkshake machine has reopened and wants to take it. Justin then uses one of the aliens’ laser guns to get rid of the hat which makes everything disappear.

Before the end of Summer 2009, Disney Channel Original Movie is set to deliver another blockbuster movie, the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie. WOWP The Movie is the movie adaptation of Wizards of Waverly Place TV series which is airing on Disney Channel for its second season.

On August 28, 2009 Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie will premier on Disney Channel. Together with the movie Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie Soundtrack will also be released on August. Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez will be singing the 4 (out of 12) singles in the album. Mitchel Musso of Hannah Montana also contributes on the WOWP Soundtrack album. Aly and AJ duo made a single in the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie Soundtrack.
