Time Out Synopsis:

On this mission Aaron Stone must face a father and son tandem that has the power to stop and control. It is Aaron mission to stop them from ruling the world with a Time Machine which is also designed to kill Charlie and T. Abner Hall. Meanwhile, Charlie is facing problems in school, due to his activity as Aaron Stone. He is failing school and might get kick out of from his the basketball team.

Episode Title: Hero Rising Part 1 and 2
Air Date: February, 2009

Hero Rising is the pilot episode of Aaron Stone which was aired last February 13, 2009. The episode was actually divided into two parts, the part 1 and part 2 of hero rising was aired back-to-back as a Valentine presentation of Disney XD. Aaron Stone was created by Bruce Kalish, he is the same guy who give us the Power Rangers. Aaron Stone episodes were both shoot at Canada and US. Aaron Stone is an comedy-adventure genre to cater the taste teenage boys. Kelly Blatz take the lead role as Charlie Landers who is also Aaron Stone.

Synopsis of the Hero Rising Part:

Charlie Landers is a normal teenage boy who enjoyed playing basketball and online video game. His life was turned upside down when he was abducted by an android namee S.T.A.N. Charlie was sent to met T. Abner Hall, the creator of the famous online video game Hero Rising. Charlie was asked to become his ‘Hero Rising’ alter ego, Aaron Stone. Does Charlie have what it takes to save the world?.

Charlie Landers is the best player in the online game, ‘Hero Rising,’ with his unstoppable crime-fighting avatar, Aaron Stone. Charlie’s world is changed forever when a powerful billionaire reveals to him that ‘Hero Rising’ is a testing game for real secret agents. Charlie is recruited to become the “real life” Aaron Stone and must fight crime against the evil Omega Defiance, a team of people who are out to destroy the world, but in his normal life he must keep super crime fighter Aaron Stone as his secret identity.

Aaron Stone is the first original Disney XD TV series, which is designed for teenage boys.   Aaron Stone is quite different from other Disney Original Series which targets the female audience and pre-teen boys.  Aaron Stone is one of the Disney’s efforts to cater to the teenage boys’ audience, which usually have a taste of action and adventure.  Aaron Stone is a live-action, single camera adventure series created by Bruce Kalish and it is produced in High Definition format.

Who is Aaron Stone?

Aaron Stone is an avatar of a heroic character in the popular online console game Hero Rising.  The character of Aaron Stone is being played by the best player named Charlie Landers (Kelly Blatz).  Charlie Landers is an ordinary 16 years old boy who is also a legend in the online video game as Aaron Stone.  Charlie becomes the “real-life” Aaron Stone when the creator of Hero Rising T. Abner Hall recruits him to become Aaron Stone. Being Aaron Stone he becomes a teenager who is living a double-life as a hero.

The Plot of the Story:
Charlie Landers is a 16 years old teenager; Charlie is a legend in the online video game called Hero Rising.  In the game he played a character named Aaron Stone.  Charlie’s life was changed forever when Hero Rising video game creator billionaire T. Abner Hall recruits him to become the “real life” Aaron Stone. As Aaron he must save the world & defeat the evil Omega Defiance.  From then on, Charlie lives a double life of an ordinary teenager and a hero.  Being a true Aaron Stone Charlie wears a protective uniform with high-tech gadgets and equipments & X-5 sneakers just like the fictional Aaron Stone in the video game.   He also has been given access to a J960 supersonic jet named “The Black Arrow” which he uses as his main means of transportation for his missions around the world.


Charlie is an avid gamer and plays Hero Rising alongside his best friend and next door neighbor Emma Lau, when Mr. Hall sends an Android named Stan to find Charlie Emma learns Charlie’s secret identity.  With her knowledge that his pal Charlie and the hero Aaron Stone is one and the same, Emma work together with Charlie.  She becomes her online game avatar Dark Tamara.  With Dark Tamara and android STAN with him, Aaron fights the evil Dr. Necros and his wicked organization The Omega defiance.

Characters in the Story:

Aaron Stone/Charlie Landers (Kelly Blatz): The hero of the story, Charlie lives a double-life as Aaron stone, his video-game character in order to protect his family and the world.

Emma Lau/Dark Tamara (Tania Gunadi): Emma is Charlie’s best friend is also an avid Hero Rising gamer.  Emma is computer-savvy tomboy who is Charlie’s next door neighbor.  She is the one of the few people who knows the real identity of Charlie as being Aaron Stone.  Emma is very savvy hacker, wherein she access Vas and Ram’s Webcam in Calcutta after hacking Charlie’s laptop.  Just like Charlie, Emma is also working with T. Abner Hall as gadget equipment inventor.   Emma’s real-life Hero Rising avatar secret identity is Dark Tamara. She is also a “drummer chick” and is aggressive. Emma is an inventor of Charlie’s gadget equipments: his gauntlet, utility belt, headset etc., is 2nd degree black belt weapons specialist. As Dr. Mara Emma has her own S.S.J (Super Sonic Jet), she is Aaron Stone’s equipment supplier.

Jason Landers (David Lambert):  He is Charlie’s 14-year-old younger brother, who, like Charlie, is an enthusiastic Internet-game player. In the video game he is Terminus Max, a giant golden robot who is his brother’s ally. Jason has no idea his brother Charlie is a secret real life world crime-fighting hero.

STAN(J. P. Manoux):  STAN is an android his name stands Sentient Tactical Assisting Neo-human.  STAN is Aaron Stone android sidekick. Stan is ruled by Asimov’s laws of robotics: He must not harm humans or allow humans to be harmed, and he must obey orders.

Amanda Landers (Shauna MacDonald): Amanda is Charlie & Jason’s mother.  She is also the Vice President of HALL Industries, the creator of Hero Rising video game.

T. Abner Hall (Martin Roach): The President of HALL Industries and maker of the game ‘Hero Rising’. He is Charlie’s mentor and assumed to be Stan’s creator.

Baxley (Jacob Kraemer): A member of the school’s basketball team and Charlie’s friend.

Dax (Dillon Casey):  A Math Genius. He is Kronis’ son, Kronis is a member of Omega Defiance.

Chase Ravenwood (Italia Ricci): Charlie’s classmate and love interest. She is obsessed into comic books. Her Mom works for the Omega Defiance and she might also be working to Omega Defiance too.

Dr. Necros (Anthony J. Mifsud): A mad-scientist and the leader of the Omega Defiance.  Dr. Necros body was enhanced by genetic engineering. His name is derived from a Greek term meaning “death”.

Xero (Steven Yaffee): A member of the Omega Defiance who is skilled in handling computers, but incapable of adequate social relations. Xero is an owner of Xero Industries, the rival of Hall Industries.

Vas Mehta (Vasanth Saranga): The brother of Ramdas. Vas’ Hero Rising video game avatar is Vesuvius from Calcutta, India.

Ramdas ‘Ram’ Mehta (Jesse Rath): The brother of Vas. Ram’s Hero Rising video game avatar is Lotus from Calcutta, India.

Dark Owl (John MacDonald): Charlie and Jason’s father.  Mr. Landers is also works for Mr. Hall.

Precy Budnick (Rob Ramsay): A large bully who has a crush on Emma.

Souljacker (Ho Chow):  He is Dr. Necros’ assistant. He mastered fighting with two thin pipes that act like boomerangs.

Asimov: A robotic technologist for androids like S.T.A.N. who works for Mr. Hall.

Hunter (Jason Earles):  Charlie’s android protector who goes berserk.

Helix (Xhlmi Agaj): He works for the Omega Defiance.

Arkov (Jeanne Goosen): She works for Dr. Helix & the Omega Defiance.

Kronis (Kent Staines): A member of the Omega Defiance, he is the father of genius Dax.
