Watch Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars Online – Blogging is not just for geeks anymore. Blogging is definitely in! In the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie, bloggers will gonna rock the house. On March 26, 2010, Disney Channel will present the world premiere of the Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars. Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars is based on the popular children’s novel Harriet the Spy written by Louise Fitzhugh way back in 1964.
Disney created some contemporary twist on the movie to bring the characters into 2010 instead of the 1960’s which it was created. Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars is based on the charm of the first book. They make Harriet little bit older, she is already 16 (she’s 11 on the book) but she still deals mean girls, except it matures that a little. It’s a bit more of mean girls having to do with gossip and heartthrobs and all that.
Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars stars Jennifer Stone (Harper of Wizards of Waverly Place) as Harriet Welsch, Kristin Booth as as Golly, Alexander Conti as Sport, Melinda Shankar as Janie, Wesley Morgan as Skander Hill, Doug Murray as Roger Welsch, Shauna MacDonald as Violetta Welsch, Vanessa Morgan as Marion Hawthorne, Kiana Madeira as Rachel and Aislinn Paul as Beth Ellen.
