The Last Song is all about second chances and first love. It is a coming of age drama that stars Miley Cyrus and Liam Hensworth. The Last Song is based upon the novel of the Best Seller author Nicholas Spark of the same title. Nicholas Sparks is the guy who wrote Best Selling books The Note Book and A Walk To Remember who also become blockbuster films.
The story of The Last Song revolves around Veronica “Ronnie” Miller (Cyrus) who becomes as rebellious and distant when her parents divorced. Once a classical piano prodigy under the tutelage of her father, Steve, Ronnie now rejects the instrument in favor of partying with her friends and has not spoken to her father since he left. Although Ronnie has been accepted to Juilliard School, she refuses to attend.
