Disney Channel Original Movie Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie has just recently released the movie official poster. WOWP The Movie was initially set to premiere on August 01 this year, but the channel moved the premiere date to August 28, 2009.

The movie is an adaptation of the hit series Wizards on Waverly Place, which is now on its second season and it is slotted for its third season. The same casts (as with the TV series) will star on the movie. Last week the official poster for the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie was revealed. The poster shows the Russo kids, Justin and Selena holding a magic and Max looking smugly on the on the center and parents Jerry and Theresa on the lower half corner. The poster has tagline “FAMILY VACATIONS CAN BE TRICKY”, which speaks of the story the movie was set.

Last week the Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie Official Soundtrack was also released with 12 tracks including 4 songs from Selena Gomez.

This coming August 28, 2009 Disney Channel Original Movie will premier the Wizards of Waverly Place the Movie. WOWP The Movie is the another movie adaptation of Disney Channel Original TV series. The movie will star the original cast of Wizards of Waverly Place.

Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie was filmed at Puerto Rico, New York City and Los Angeles. The production began last February 15, 2009. Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie, the Russo family went to a vacation on the Caribbean resort where Jerry and Theresa first met. The adventure comedy has Alex (Selena Gomez) upset that she must accompany her family on the trip and she ultimately conjures a spell that reverses her parents’ fateful first meeting and puts the Russo family’s very existence in question. The only chance to cancel the spell is to find the all-powerful “Stone of Dreams”, so Alex and her brother Justin set out to jungle to find the stone. Meanwhile, Max, who remains with the presence of their squabbling parents scrambles to find the way to make their parents fall in love again.
